We are currently working with Trace to become carbon positive as we grow. Trace is a digital platform that helps climate conscious individuals and businesses measure, reduce and offset their carbon footprint and track their impact over time through simple and engaging digital tools. 

We  Know, We know! Single use plastic! While we have selected the most recyclable plastic packaging and chosen an airless pump so ALL of the product gets ejected and therefore used. It does pain us that we have contributed plastic to the earth. 

As we grow and with new products we hope to transition to a more sustainable packaging. Our team is on the lookout for new and exciting packaging constantly and we will keep you updated! In the meantime we will offset all of our plastic contributions!

Unfortunately for our reef most products with sun protection use harsh un-natural chemical filters that have contributed to coral reef degradation, The common filters are listed below:

Oxybenzone
Octinoxate
Octocrylene
Homosalate

These chemical filters absorb UV  into the skin and then convert most of it to heat to be released from the skin.

Zinc oxide on the other hand is a natural mineral and safe for the reefs. It also protects the skin by forming a physical shield to stop the skin absorbing UVB/UVA rays.
